Privacy during the LIMA pilot

Last updated: September 27, 2026. LIMA is an invitation-only pilot operated by its founder. For privacy questions, contact lima.founders@gmail.com.

Information you choose to keep

LIMA stores your account details, profile information, records, contacts, notes, reminders and uploaded documents so you can organize and retrieve them. Account information includes your email address and, when you use Google sign-in, the identity details Google shares to sign you in. Only add other people’s information when you have permission or another appropriate reason to do so.

Where information is processed

Supabase provides sign-in, the database and private file storage in the United States. Vercel hosts the application, and Resend delivers account emails. These providers process information needed to operate their services, including technical connection and security logs. Google handles Google sign-in when you choose it.

Your information is restricted to your account in the app. Authorized operators and service providers may access it when necessary for support, security or recovery. LIMA does not offer end-to-end encryption. The pilot does not send your documents to an AI service or sell your personal information.

Your browser and shared devices

LIMA uses session cookies to keep you signed in. Hosted records and document contents are not intentionally saved in browser local storage. Downloads you choose to save remain on your device. Sign out before someone else uses a shared device; signing out of LIMA does not sign you out of Google.

Retention, export and deletion

Information remains while your account is active or until you delete it. Contact support to request a private export or account deletion. We verify your identity before acting. Deleted data may remain in restricted recovery backups until those backups expire; the pilot’s backup retention target is seven days. Limited operational records may remain to prevent deleted accounts from being restored accidentally and to handle security incidents.

Before relying on the pilot

Keep your original documents. Do not use LIMA as a password manager or store recovery codes, access credentials or payment card security codes. Reminders appear in the app; the pilot does not send reminder emails or push notifications. Support will communicate material changes to these practices before expanding the pilot.
